Easy caramel sauce recipe (Photos)

Use this caramel sauce over ice cream, pound cake, fruit or to add a touch of color and sweetness to the whipped topping on top of your flavored coffee!

Caramel Sauce

• 2 cups sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/2 cup heavy cream

Over meduim heat, in a heavy and non-stick sauce pan, combine sugar and water.

Stir while cooking until it turns a light brown/caramel color. This will take about 8-9 minutes.

Slowly pour in cream and cook for another minute. Cream will cause mixture to bubble up.

Cool and use.
