Easy beef stew ingredients:
1 pound beef stew meat
4 red potatoes cut into bite sized pieces
6 carrots sliced
1 onion chopped
2 stalks of celery sliced
3 cups beef broth or water
1 package brown gravy mix
salt and pepper to taste
Crock pot beef stew cooking method:
Place the stew meat into crock pot and add the beef broth or water. Set the crock pot on high heat and let the beef cook for about two hours.
Add the potatoes, carrots, onion and celery. Cook for an additional hour and a half, or until the vegetables reach desired tenderness.
Add the brown gravy packet to the beef stew and stir. Salt and pepper to taste.
