Ingredients
- 1 Reynolds Oven bag, 19 x 23
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 1 12- to 16-lb ham, fully cooked with the bone in
- Whole cloves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
- Add the flour to the oven bag, shaking it in.
- Put bag into the roasting pan, going about two-inches deep.
- Trim the skin from the Christmas ham. Leave a layer of fatcan be a thin layer.
- Score a diamond pattern into the fat and insert cloves in the grooves.
- Place the holiday ham into the Reynolds cooking bag.
- Fasten the bag closed with a nylon tie.
- Cut six half-inch slits into the top of the bag.
- Tuck the ends of the Reynolds bag into the pan.
- Bake the easy Christmas ham recipe for 2 to 3 hours or until the meat thermometer hits 140 degrees in the thick part of the ham (not touching the bone).
- Allow the ham to stand for 15 minutes.

- Serve the ham with green bean casserole and mashed sweet potatoes for a traditional Christmas dinner. Add the juice of the ham to your gravy makings for added flavor.
