Easy Cooking Recipes: Easy stuffed shells recipe uses frozen meatballs (Photos)

This Stuffed Shells Recipe will get a good reception at your house. It's so easy, and it stretches a long way, too. You could alter the sauce and cheeses to suit your tastes, but my family really likes the new combination of tomato and Alfredo spaghetti sauces which is showing up in recipes across the Internet.

Ingredients:

Pasta shells: One regular box
Tomato spaghetti Sauce: One can or jar
Alfredo spaghetti sauce: One jar
Frozen meatballs: Plain or Italian, but I use plain.
Shredded mozzarella Cheese: 2 cups
Softened cream cheese: 2 containers or two bricks
Parmesan cheese in the green container: Approx. cup or more for filling and enough for topping
Dried parsley
Dried garlic powder
Oil for pan

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375.
Heat meatballs in the microwave according to directions.
Cook pasta according to directions on box and drain.
Coat pan generously with oil.
Combine spaghetti sauces well in a bowl.
Coat bottom of pan with sauce.
Add parmesan cheese along with generous amounts of garlic powder and parsley to cream cheese and mix very well.
Stuff shells with cream cheese mixture and top with a meatball.
Place shells in pan lined with sauce.
Ladle more sauce between the shells and drizzle some across the tops.
Top generously with Mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake until cheese is melted and golden. Watch closely for burning, turning down as necessary.
Allow to stand a few minutes before serving.
