Trishs Baked Beans Recipe
Ingredients for Trishs Baked Beans:
- 1 pound of uncooked bacon (cut into 1 inch pieces)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 large cans Bushs beans
- cup brown sugar
- cup molasses
- cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
Directions for Trishs Baked Beans:
In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the bacon until it starts to crisp. Add the chopped onion, and continue to cook until the bacon is very crispy.
Add the 3 cans of beans, brown sugar, molasses, ketchup, and mustard. Stir until incorporated. Simmer uncovered over very low heat on the stovetop for 2 to 3 hours.
